This bill amends the definition of "family child care home" to include a child care microcenter, which is a permitted local facility that is not a private residence in which more than 7, but not more than 12, minor children are given care and supervision for periods of less than 24 hours a day. This change expands the types of facilities that can be licensed as family child care homes in Michigan.
