Establishes criteria for renaming highways in Michigan to honor eligible subjects.

This bill amends Michigan's existing law to add criteria for renaming highways. A memorial designation can only be made for an eligible subject that is historically or culturally significant to Michigan or the United States. The subject can be an individual, group, organization, event, military unit, operation, event, or award. If the subject is an individual or group, they must be deceased. If a service member, they must have died in the line of duty.
