Michigan SB0661 amends section 6b of the Michigan strategic fund act to reflect the elimination of the Michigan strategic fund. The bill allows the director or the commission to authorize the use of property owned by or under the control of the commission for the production of a film in Michigan, provided the film does not include obscene matter or an obscene performance. The economic and other benefits to the state from film production are considered the value received by the state in exchange for the use of property.
