Michigan SB0644 amends the Economic Development Incentive Evaluation Act to reflect the elimination of the Michigan Strategic Fund. The bill requires the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget to contract with one or more contractors for periodic evaluations of economic development incentives. These evaluations must be completed within 270 days of entering into the contract. The department must provide the evaluation to the House and Senate Appropriations Committees within 30 days of completion.
