Michigan SB0630 requires prevailing wage on certain broadband service projects.

Michigan SB0630 amends the Michigan Labor law to require the prevailing wage on certain broadband service projects. The bill defines "broadband service project" as new construction, improvement, maintenance, expansion, alteration, or demolition of broadband service hardware. The prevailing wage requirement applies to projects funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act or the federal Coronavirus Capital Projects Fund.
