The bill amends the Michigan Liquor Control Act to increase fees for authorized distribution agents. Specifically, it raises the per-case offset paid by vendors of spirits to authorized distribution agents from $8.25 to $12.50. The state treasurer will adjust this amount annually based on the Consumer Price Index or 5%, whichever is less, starting October 1, 2025. Additionally, vendors must pay an extra $1.75 per case to authorized distribution agents.
