Michigan SB0568 amends the operation and maintenance inspection fees for hospitals, nursing homes, homes for the aged, and adult foster care facilities with capacity for more than six adults. The fees collected are to be deposited in a restricted account and used solely to fund the services for which they were collected. The fees can be increased annually by a percentage amount not exceeding the average wage and salary increase for classified civil service employees. The fees are to be established in the fee schedule contained in each fiscal year's appropriations act for the department.
