Michigan SB0511 allows certain social wagering activities with specific conditions.

Michigan SB0511 amends the state's gambling laws to permit certain social wagering activities. These activities must be incidental to a bona fide social relationship, involve no more than 100 participants, and not take place in gambling establishments or be promoted by businesses. The maximum wager per individual is $25.00, and no money or valuable items are exchanged except as prizes. The organizer can only benefit by potentially winning the same prizes as participants.
