Michigan medical treatment decisions act; enacts new act.

This act establishes the Michigan medical treatment decisions act. It authorizes certain individuals to make medical treatment decisions for patients unable to participate in such decisions. The act outlines the order of priority for decision-makers, including the patient's spouse, adult children, parents, adult siblings, and grandparents. The attending physician and another physician or psychologist must determine the patient's inability to participate in medical treatment decisions.
