Michigan SB0466 amends the Age of Majority Act of 1971 to redefine the age of majority as 18 for most legal purposes, effective January 1, 1972. This change applies to duties, liabilities, responsibilities, rights, and legal capacity. However, the bill excludes certain tobacco-related provisions, maintaining the age of majority at 21 for tobacco-related laws. The bill will only take effect if other specified Senate Bills (SB 0463, SB 0464, SB 0465) are also enacted.
