SB0456 amends Michigan law to enhance public notification of missing seniors or vulnerable adults.

SB0456 amends the senior or vulnerable adult medical alert system to improve public notification of missing seniors or vulnerable adults. It requires law enforcement agencies to notify the Department of State Police upon completing a report of a missing senior or vulnerable adult. The Department of State Police must then issue a medical alert and forward information to relevant law enforcement agencies, broadcasters, and newspapers.
