This bill amends the statute of limitations for civil actions related to criminal sexual conduct in Michigan. It extends the period of limitations to 10 years for actions to recover damages sustained due to criminal sexual conduct. The bill also defines "dating relationship" as frequent, intimate associations primarily characterized by the expectation of affectional involvement. The changes will only take effect if certain other bills are enacted into law.
