Michigan SB0237 establishes an apprenticeship program for Michigan Army National Guard and Air National Guard members.

Michigan SB0237 creates a program to help Michigan Army National Guard and Air National Guard members apply their military training and experience toward a registered apprenticeship certificate from the U.S. Department of Labor. The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs will operate the program, which must be a no-cost benefit for members. Eligible members must hold a compatible military occupational specialty or air force specialty code.
