Expands the list of health providers who can petition for involuntary mental health treatment.

This bill amends the mental health code to allow physicians, psychologists, and qualified health professionals to petition for a second or continuing order of involuntary mental health treatment. The petition must be accompanied by a clinical certificate and evidence that the individual is likely to refuse treatment on a voluntary basis. The bill also clarifies the definition of qualified health professionals to include psychiatric nurse practitioners.
