Michigan SB0206 amends the Michigan School Code to require the Michigan Department of Education to create a model presentation on organ, eye, and tissue donation and transplantation programs. This presentation must be made available to public schools and should be no longer than one class period. It must include information about the Michigan organ donor registry. Beginning in the 2026-2027 school year, school districts and public school academies are encouraged to present this model to students before they complete grade 9.
