Allows elected officials to serve on a county social services board in Michigan.

This bill amends the Michigan Compiled Laws to allow elected officials to serve on a county social services board. The county social services board is composed of three members, two appointed by the county board of commissioners and one by the director of social health and human services. Members serve three-year terms and must reside within the county. The board must hold at least 12 meetings each fiscal year, with no more than five weeks between meetings. Members are reimbursed for necessary travel and expenses.
