Michigan SB0072 amends the ratio of electrical journeymen or master electricians to registered apprentice electricians on jobsites, setting it at 1 to no more than 3. It mandates joint supervision responsibility between electrical contractors and master electricians. It enforces these changes on a jobsite basis and mandates that any approved apprenticeship training program comply with the new ratio.
