Michigan HJRU proposes constitutional amendments to change the nomination process for the secretary of state and attorney general, moving it from political party conventions to primary elections. It also modifies the governing boards of the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, and Wayne State University. The boards will expand from eight to nine members, with term limits and restrictions on political party representation.
