Amends Michigan state constitution to replace appointed Michigan Public Service Commission with an elected body starting January 1, 2029.

The bill amends the Michigan state constitution to replace the existing appointed Michigan Public Service Commission with a nonpartisan elected body starting January 1, 2029. Members will be nominated by party conventions and must meet citizenship, residency, and conflict of interest requirements. The elected commission will exercise the same rights, privileges, and jurisdiction as the current appointed commission. The amendment will be submitted to voters at the next general election.
