Michigan HJRG proposes constitutional amendments to eliminate the state board of education and the state board for public community and junior.

Michigan HJRG proposes constitutional amendments to eliminate the state board of education and the state board for public community and junior colleges. The state board of education, currently responsible for leadership and general supervision over all public education, would be removed. Additionally, the state board for public community and junior colleges, which advises the state board of education on general supervision and planning, would also be eliminated. These changes would affect the governance and oversight of public education and community colleges in Michigan.
