Michigan HB6216 amends the Michigan limited liability company act to prohibit domestic and foreign limited liability companies from spending money or contributing anything of value in support of or in opposition to a candidate, political party, political committee, or ballot question. The bill also subjects companies that violate this prohibition to dissolution or revocation of their authority to transact business in Michigan. The bill takes effect only if two companion bills are also enacted.
