Consolidates licensing statutes for mortgage brokers and lenders in Michigan.

This bill amends sections 14h and 14p of chapter XVII of 1927 PA 175, consolidating licensing statutes related to residential mortgages. It makes conforming changes in the code of criminal procedure. The changes include various offenses related to identity theft, fraudulent activities, and other criminal activities associated with mortgage brokers and lenders. The bill will not take effect unless House Bill No. 6177 is enacted into law.
