Michigan HB6178 amends the residential mortgage licensing and supervision act to consolidate licensing statutes related to residential mortgages. The bill allows cities with a population of 7,500 or more, or those in counties with a population of 1,500,000 or more with a city population of 3,300 or more, to establish an administrative hearings bureau to adjudicate and impose sanctions for blight violations. The bureau can accept admissions of responsibility for blight violations.
