Regulates access to nonpublic areas by federal immigration authorities in Michigan.

The Safe Access to Facilities Act governs state and local governmental entities and employees, prohibiting them from knowingly granting federal immigration authorities access to nonpublic areas without a judicial warrant. The act does not restrict criminal investigations, interfere with judicial warrants, limit cooperation in criminal matters, restrict actions necessary for public safety, or interfere with emergency medical care or health and safety protections. It applies solely to state and local governmental entities and employees.
