Allows licensed practical nurses to perform certain intravenous therapy procedures under specific conditions.

This bill amends the Michigan Public Health Code to permit licensed practical nurses to perform certain intravenous therapy procedures, provided they complete a 20-hour approved course and are supervised by a registered professional nurse, physician, or dentist. Procedures allowed include inserting peripheral intravenous catheters, maintaining infusions, and flushing devices with saline or heparin.
