Complete·7/22/26

Establishes Tri-Share child care program and CareShare arrangement for employer-employee cost-sharing of child care expenses.

This bill establishes the Tri-Share child care program and CareShare arrangement within the Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential. The Tri-Share program allows employers to cover at least one-third of an employee's child care costs, with the state not providing a subsidy under the CareShare arrangement. Employers can elect to contribute more than one-third of the costs, up to the full amount. The bill also creates the Tri-Share child care fund for investments and requires annual public reports on program participation and costs.
