Michigan HB6020 amends the Michigan Public Health Code to create an ibogaine grant program within the Department of Health and Human Services. This program will provide grants for certified clinical drug development trials overseen by the FDA on ibogaine's use in treating opioid use disorder, co-occurring substance use disorder, or other neurological or mental health conditions. The bill also establishes an ibogaine research fund to support these trials.
