Expands powers and duties of the Office of Legislative Corrections Ombudsman.

This bill amends the Office of Legislative Corrections Ombudsman to expand its powers and duties. It allows the ombudsman to enter correctional facilities during emergencies, bring qualified experts and testing equipment into facilities, and interview individuals relevant to investigations. The ombudsman can also inspect department premises, consult with qualified experts, and request information from the department. The bill also mandates the creation of a standardized complaint form and outlines procedures for receiving and processing complaints.
