Modifies Michigan's no-fault insurance law to allow policyholders to opt out of personal injury protection coverage and change the duration of the.

This bill amends Michigan's no-fault insurance law by allowing policyholders to opt out of personal injury protection coverage. It modifies the length of the election period for opting out of this coverage. The changes apply to policies issued or renewed after June 30, 2027. The bill also allows insurers to offer reduced premiums for policyholders with qualified health coverage that covers injuries from motor vehicle accidents.
