Requires health professionals to refer patients to a fetal alcohol spectrum disorder diagnostic center under certain conditions.

The bill amends the Michigan Public Health Code to require health professionals to refer patients to a diagnostic center for fetal alcohol spectrum disorder if the patient is a minor with a condition related to prenatal alcohol exposure or a pregnant woman suspected of consuming alcohol. The referral must be to a center identified by the Department of Health and Human Services as a center of excellence.
