Michigan HB5748 prohibits carrying concealed pistols in certain state buildings.

Michigan HB5748 amends the concealed pistol licensing act to prohibit individuals licensed to carry concealed pistols from doing so in specific state buildings. These include the Senate Office Building, the Anderson House Office Building, the Binsfeld Building, and the Michigan State Capitol Building. The bill also prohibits the use of portable devices that use electro-muscular disruption technology in these locations. Exceptions are made for certain licensed individuals, such as state court judges, retired officers, and private investigators, under specific conditions.
