Establishes a provider advisory council to review contracts with child care institutions and agencies in Michigan.

The bill amends the Michigan Child Care Act to establish a provider advisory council. This council will consist of 7 to 11 members, appointed by the department after consultation with a professional association. Members must represent different geographic regions and have been employed by a child care institution or agency for at least 5 years. The council will review proposed contracts, renewals, and material amendments, and the department must submit these materials to the council at least 120 days before execution.
