Modifies certificate of need requirements for certain outpatient imaging centers in Michigan.
This bill amends Michigan's Public Health Code to modify certificate of need requirements for outpatient imaging centers. It allows a person to file a letter of intent with the department instead of obtaining a certificate of need for initiating, expanding, replacing, relocating, or acquiring positron emission tomography scanner services, fixed or mobile magnetic resonance imager services, or fixed or mobile computerized tomography scanner services.
