Establishes the Office of Community Violence Intervention and Prevention Services within the Department of Health and Human Services.

The bill creates the Office of Community Violence Intervention and Prevention Services within the Department of Health and Human Services. The office will administer a fund and a grant program, maintain data on community violence trends, provide technical assistance to community-based nonprofit organizations, establish measurable statewide goals for reducing shootings, aggravated assaults, and homicides, publish annual guidance and standardized reporting requirements for grant recipients, and serve as the coordinating entity for all community violence intervention and prevention initiatives.
