Exempts earned wage access services from the criminal usury law in Michigan.

This bill amends the criminal usury law in Michigan to exclude business transactions conducted under a license for earned wage access services. Earned wage access services allow employees to access their earned wages before the regular pay date. The amendment will not take effect unless another bill, House Bill No. 5558, is enacted into law.
