Establishes the hyperbaric oxygen therapy fund for grants and operations of a pilot program.
The bill creates the hyperbaric oxygen therapy fund within the state treasury, managed by the Department of Health and Human Services. The fund will receive money from any source and invest it, with interest and earnings credited back to the fund. The Department will administer the fund and expend money for grants under the hyperbaric oxygen therapy grant program and for operating the pilot program. After the pilot program ends, the fund will close, and any remaining money will lapse to the general fund. The act will only take effect if House Bill No. 5456 is enacted into law.
