Allows Michigan school districts to provide up to 15 days of virtual instruction per school year.

Michigan HB5427 amends the state school aid act to allow school districts to provide up to 15 days of virtual instruction in a school year. This virtual instruction must be counted as pupil instruction and can only be used for emergency closures, student testing days, or professional development, not exceeding 30 hours annually. The school district's plan for virtual instruction must be approved by the district's board and communicated to affected pupils and their parents or guardians before implementation.
