Introduced Text

Allows personal service agreements for home and medical assistance services in Michigan.

This bill amends Michigan's public assistance law to allow personal service agreements for home and medical assistance services. These agreements can be made between an individual or their authorized representative and another person, including family members. The bill specifies that payments under these agreements are not considered divestments if they are not for less than fair market value. The agreements must be made in writing or described orally before the services are provided, detailing the type, frequency, and duration of the services.
