Allows qualified public health physicians to issue standing orders for administering drugs and devices to protect public health.

This bill amends sections of the Michigan Public Health Code to allow qualified public health physicians to issue standing orders for administering drugs and devices. These standing orders can be extended beyond their initial expiration date if certain conditions are met. The bill also provides immunity from civil liability for those administering drugs or devices under these standing orders, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
