Michigan HB5345 requires child care centers to maintain and report immunization rates of children and staff.

Michigan HB5345 amends the Child Care Licensing Act to mandate that licensed child care centers, group child care homes, and family child care homes maintain up-to-date records of immunization rates among children in their care and staff on site. Starting June 1, 2028, these facilities must provide parents with information on immunization status, including total numbers of children, those fully or partially vaccinated, and those exempt due to medical, religious, or philosophical reasons.
