Establishes the Secure Retirement Savings Board within the Michigan Department of Treasury.

The bill creates the Secure Retirement Savings Board in the Michigan Department of Treasury. The board consists of seven members, including the state treasurer, a designee of the state treasurer, the director of the Department of Technology, Management, and Budget or their designee, and four appointees by the governor. These appointees include two public representatives with expertise in retirement savings, a representative of participating employers, and a representative of enrollees. Members serve without compensation but may be reimbursed for travel expenses.
