Establishes a grant program to help veterans obtain service animals.

The bill creates the veterans service animal grant program to provide financial assistance to veterans for obtaining service animals. The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs will administer the program, awarding grants to eligible veterans. To qualify, a veteran must have been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress from military service and be matched with a service animal from a tax-exempt nonprofit organization. The program will be funded by the veterans service animal fund, managed by the state treasurer.
