Chamber Passed·4/15/26

Modifies duties of real estate brokers in limited service agreements.

This bill amends the duties of real estate brokers under service provision agreements. It allows sellers or lessors to waive certain services in limited service agreements, such as advertising the property to the public. Brokers must still provide reasonable care, skill, and confidentiality, among other duties. The bill requires the broker to recommend a fee title policy to the purchaser at the time of offer execution. The changes take effect only if specific companion bills are also enacted.
