Michigan HB5221 amends the ratio of journey plumbers or master plumbers to apprentices on jobsites from 1 to 2 to 1 to 5. The Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs or an enforcing agency will enforce this ratio on a jobsite basis. Violations by plumbing contractors are subject to administrative fines and license suspensions.
