Updates Michigan landlord-tenant law to clarify communication methods between landlords and tenants.

The bill amends Michigan landlord-tenant law to update communication methods between landlords and tenants. It specifies that landlords must notify tenants of their contact information within 14 days of occupancy. Tenants must notify landlords of their contact information within 4 days of vacating. Landlords must send a notice of damages within 15 days of occupancy termination, detailing claimed damages and including a check or money order for the security deposit difference. Tenants must respond within 7 days, detailing agreement or disagreement with the claimed damages.
