Michigan HB4965 amends the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act to include cross-references to the Industrial Hemp Research and Development Act. It updates definitions and licensing requirements for marihuana growers, processors, provisioning centers, secure transporters, and safety compliance facilities. The bill mandates that safety compliance facilities test marihuana for contaminants and cannabinoids, and return test results. It also establishes standards for waste disposal, chemical storage, transportation, and labeling of marihuana.
