The bill amends the 21st century jobs trust fund by altering the allocation of tobacco settlement revenue. It specifies that from fiscal year 2008 through 2026, $75 million annually of tobacco settlement revenue not considered a TSR must be deposited into the 21st century jobs trust fund. Additionally, from fiscal year 2015 through 2035, $17.5 million annually of the same revenue must be deposited into the countercyclical budget and economic stabilization fund. The state treasurer is directed to invest these funds in authorized investments and comply with divestment laws.
