Michigan HB4919 amends the procedure for vacating disciplinary records of certain licensees or registrants.
Michigan HB4919 amends the procedure for vacating disciplinary records of certain licensees or registrants. It allows respondents to contest citations by stating they do not admit to the violation within 30 days of receiving the citation. If a citation is removed from a person's record, they may state that no citation exists regarding the subject matter. Beginning January 1, 2026, citations for failure to complete continuing education are automatically removed from a person's record four years after issuance. The department must remove such citations if the person provides proof of completion.
