This bill amends the cosmetology licensing law to allow cosmetology apprentices to perform shampoo services in cosmetology establishments without a license. The apprentice must be enrolled in a cosmetology school, have completed at least 350 hours of instruction, and have a verification letter from the school. The establishment must ensure a licensed cosmetologist is present during the shampoo services. The school must retain a copy of the verification letter for at least three years after the apprentice's expected graduation date.
