Modifies continuing education requirements for Michigan chiropractors, including pain and symptom management courses.

Michigan HB4900 amends the continuing education requirements for chiropractors. It mandates that applicants for license renewal complete specific hours or courses in pain and symptom management. The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, in consultation with the board, will establish the number of courses or programs equivalent to attending a conference. The board will consider courses offered by the Federation of Chiropractic Licensing Board or equivalent programs as meeting the requirements.
